How to use this trip sharing site

Photos, maps, itineraries, etc. are now available on our group sharing site www.suekayton.com/provence

We are hoping that you will choose to share your photos with the rest of the group.  This is also an easy way to share your photos with friends and family. 

UPLOADING PHOTOS

You can choose any of these methods to share and upload photos

1)  Upload your photos to a Provence folder in Google Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud, make sure they are shared or public, and email me a link to your shared or public Provence folder.

2)  Email photos a few at a time to Sue Kayton kayton@alum.mit.edu

2)  Copy photos to my Dropbox folder. Please put them in the folder with your name on it.  Every day, Sue will check the Dropbox and move the copy of your pictures to Google Photos and will put a link to the photos in Dropbox so you will be able to access the photos and will know that they have been safely uploaded.  This folder is located at http://tinyurl.com/gkvde5q

3)  Give Sue a USB flash drive with your photos on it, or borrow a flash drive from Sue and copy your photos onto it.

4)  If you are adding photos to an existing Google Photos folder, just click on Join in the lower left corner of the page, and drop-and-drag photos into it.  You can also create a new album by drop-and-dragging a bunch of folders into Google Photos. 

5)  Bring Sue your camera or computer and she can copy pictures directly from it to her computer.  Then Sue can do the upload for you.

6)  Mail a flash drive, CD, DVD, or camera chip to Sue Kayton, 1854 Doris Drive, Menlo Park CA 94025-6102.  Please use a padded envelope to protect your hardware from damage.  Sue will copy the files onto Google Photos and post to our website.  Include a note with the hardware indicating if you need it returned, and include the address for return mail.  Of course, make sure your name is included so she knows who to credit for the photos!

DOWNLOADING OR VIEWING PHOTOS

You can easily view all the files that have been uploaded by going to www.suekayton.com/provence and clicking on the blue links.  Most of these photos are in low or medium resolution.  

To download a photo from our website or Google Photos onto a computer, right-click on the picture and select Save Picture As, then select the location where you want to save it.
