MONGOLIA - Teach English at
the Global Leadership University of Ulaanbaatar. Working conditions: Teaching
English to adults in 45-minute sessions. The workweek is 30 hours. A Mongolian
ESL teacher will provide initial guidance to you. This role includes a home stay
with a local family including 2 meals per day. A monthly stipend of US$300 to
cover miscellaneous expenses will also be provided. Requirements: Some teaching
experience. ESL certification is preferred. Immigration requirements: No visa is
required for interns staying 90 days or less. If you extend your stay, the local
employer will assist in securing the necessary work visa. CHINA - Six month internship working the front desk at the
Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel in Shanghai, assisting English-speaking guests.
Monthly stipend is 2000 RMB (approx $330) plus free room and board.
FRANCE - Camping Mezos le village tropical, in the area of Landes, 20 km from
the Atlantic six days per week, 10 am - 1 pm, and 3 pm until 5 pm work with
children up to the age of 13 or 14: always in groups with other French teachers
of your age group.Then in the evening from 9 - 11:30 pm to work with a
choreographer in producing a "theatrical" show (dancing, singing) for the
entertainment of the parents. Advanced level of spoken French, free
accommodations, € 200 per month for food, € 400 stipend per month.
FRANCE - Camping Grau du Roi in the Camargue directly on the Mediterranean:
six days per week, 10 am - 1 pm, and 3 pm until 5 pm work with children up to
the age of 13 or 14: always in groups with other French teachers of your age
group. Then in the evening from 9 - 11:30 pm to work with a choreographer in
producing a "theatrical" show (dancing, singing) for the entertainment of the
parents. Advanced level of spoken French, free accommodations, € 200 per month
for food, € 400 stipend per month.
FRANCE - Camping Marisol Torreilles Plages directly on the Mediterranean,
Languedoc-Roussillon, 20 minutes from Perpignan six days per week, 10 am - 1 pm,
and 3 pm until 5 pm work with children up to the age of 13 or 14: always in
groups with other French teachers of your age group. Then in the evening from 9
- 11:30 pm to work with a choreographer in producing a "theatrical" show
(dancing, singing) for the entertainment of the parents. Advanced level of
spoken French, free accommodations, € 200 per month for food, € 400 stipend per
month.
CHINA - Teach English for Xuedu Metropolis
Education, Kunming, Yunnan Province. Each teacher will receive one
week training under the auspices of a professional coach. Student teachers
must show some proficiency in Mandarin. A Skype interview will be
conducted. Professional attire required. Salary 6000 RMB to 8000 RMB
(before tax) including furnished housing accomodations in an apartment shared
with other foreign teachers. Teachers should be mature, outgoing
individuals who will enjoy this unique teaching opportunity. Teachers will
be invited to spend time with Chinese families to experience Chinese culture and
traditional celebrations. Teachers can sign up for summer (3 months), or 6
or 12 month assignments. Teachers can select the type of student or
students he/she may want to teach. Teaching schedule: 6 days / week, one day off
either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. 3 until 10 pm with a 2 hour break. （From
Sept. to Jan.） 6 days / week, with one day off either Monday, Tuesday or
Wednesday. 9 am until 5:30 pm. ( Semester after Spring Festival to March. )
Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am until 5 pm with a two-hour lunch break from 12 -
2 pm. (All year round). The biggest class has 20 students, ages from preschool
to high school and the smallest class has only one student. Vacation time
for the full-time teachers: Spring holidays (according to lunar calendar):
10 -14 days, including Golden Week (October 1 – 7) For the other holidays: this
will go according to the school’s calendar. The tax rate varies from 3 to
8 % depending on the total earned. 
PERU Teach English in Calca (one hour from Cuzco) to mixed girls and boys.
School has 500 students. Room and board provided by the city
administration.
PERU Centro de Salud Belenpampa. Outskirts of Cuzco. Medical clinic
and hospital serving the very poor. About 300 patients a day visit the
facility. Pre-med students needed to serve as volunteer medical
assistants. Spanish is required. Work hours 8 AM until 1 PM, five days a
week. Room and board can be arranged for a cost of $1100 - $1300 per

PERU Mercedes de Jesus Molina. Orphanage one hour from Cuzco serving
fourteen girls 6 to 16 years old.
PERU Santa Rosa de Lamay orphanage one hour from Cuzco. Serves 52 girls
ages 14 to 18 years old.
PERU Monarchy orphanage in Urubamba 90 minutes from Cuzco. Serves 72
children, boys and girls. Bring your own sleeping bag. Cost is US
$12 per day which includes a place to sleep and eating 3 meals a day with the
children. Work days and hours are flexible
PERU Teach English or art at Calca National School, one hour from Cuzco, near
the main square of town. There are 34 female students between 16 and 24
years old. Cost is US$ 16 per day which includes housing and three meals.
Teach 6 hours per day, five days per week
PERU Teach English in Calca (one hour from Cuzco) to mixed girls and boys.
School has 500 students. Room and board provided by the city
administration.
PERU: Westfalia Kinderdorf. Work with special-needs children in a
German-sponsored and operated home for children. In Cieneguilla, a suburb
of Lima. Some Spanish required.
On large site of 80 acres is a very special place for 132 street children
between the ages of 6 months and 22 years, to find safety and support. The
youngest are often orphans and without given names. A small number of children
are mentally or physically challenged and require extra special care and
patience. These children are fully integrated with the rest of their “family” in
the care home, where they all learn important life skills in a supporting and
nurturing environment. Working conditions: 8 - 10 hours of work per
weekday with weekends free to explore Lima on your own or with other interns.
Accommodation and 3 meals a day are included. Preferred majors include:
sociology, education, early childhood development, art, horticulture,
agriculture, dietetics, psychology, pre-med, hospitality and general business
administration. Duration: minimum of two months up to six months. No visa is
required because interns enter Peru as tourists. Transportation from the airport
